Shraddha Kapoor has rubbished the reports of her being a part of Salman Khan's upcoming movie Bharat. There have been reports that the young actress will be a part of the movie which will also have Priyanka Chopra in the key role.
However, contrary to the reports, the Half Girlfriend actress has said that she is currently busy with three projects - Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Stree and Saho - and hasn't signed any other movie so far.
"There are a couple of films that my name is being associated with when I haven’t even been approached. But the fact is that the only films I am working on are Batti Gul Meter Chalu, Stree and Saaho. My producers will announce if and when I sign another project. Till then please don’t believe any speculations," Shraddha was quoted as saying.
Talking about Bharat, the movie will chronicle India’s journey from 1947 till present. Helmed by Ali Abbas Zafar, the movie will feature Salman in five different avatars.
It is also reported that the movie is an adaptation of Korean movie, Ode to My Father.
Talking about the same, Ali told DNA, “Since the story spans over a period of 70 years, there will be many historical references. It is essentially about a man who lives through several significant moments from India’s past to present. We are currently working on the film’s pre-production and details will be announced once we are in a position to talk about them.”
Reportedly, Bharat will be shot in the locales of Delhi Punjabi, Spain and Abu Dhabi. The movie is likely to hit the floors in June this year and is speculated to be Salman Khan's Eid release in 2019.
