Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt's relationship has been the talk of the town ever since the two made their debut in Bollywood. Although the couple never admitted to be dating each other, there have been reports that Sid and Alia have recently called it quits.
Indeed, the reports of their break up has led to several speculations behind the reason behind their split. As per the recent buzz, it was Sidharth's philandering ways that made the couple part ways.
Reportedly, Sid is said to be cheating on Alia with Jacqueline Fernandez. Apparently, there were rumors about Malhotra's growing proximity with his A Gentleman co-star Jacqueline Fernandez which left the Alia irked.
The reports also suggested that though Sid-Jacqueline had maintained their just friends stance, they did share a great bond.

According to a report published in Bollywood Life, a source was quoted as saying, “Alia and Sidharth were already struggling to keep their relationship steady and going. Work had kept the two extremely busy. In fact, Sidharth was not too happy when Alia worked with Varun in Badrinath and had to spend too much time with him for their film’s promotions. It’s around this time that Sidharth and Jacqueline were working on A Gentleman (then titled Reloaded). Things got awkward between the couple, who were having lots of fights, around this time. They got back together, but soon afterwards there were issues that cropped up again. Alia was suspicious that Sidharth was cheating with Jacky behind her back. Sidharth, on the other hand, felt that Alia wasn’t willing to commit either.”
The source also suggested that despite a special bond Sidharth and Jacqueline have never been an official couple. “Sidharth was flirtatious with Jacqueline, but he was not dating her. Alia wasn’t too happy with his over friendliness and raised the issue. The couple had several fights. In fact, while Sidharth and Jacqueline do share a special bond, but they are not officially a couple. The cracks in Alia-Sid’s relationship were always there for everyone to see, but nobody expected that they would call it quits, just like many didn’t think it would last,” the source added.
Well, be it Jacqueline or Sid's flirtatious ways, his break up with Alia has come as a huge disappointment for everyone.
On the work front, the now ex-couple Sid-Alia is said to be seen romancing each other in Mahesh Bhatt's upcoming directorial Aashiqui 3.
