Bollywood actor Sidharth Malhotra is gearing up for his next film Marjaavaan. The shoot for the film started from Friday and to announce the project, Sidharth took to his social media accounts to share a still from the film. Donning a sturdy look, the Ek Villain actor can be seen highlighting the tattoos on his fingers. Each tattoo stands as a symbol of each religion – Hinduism, Sikhism, Islam, and Christianity.
Taking to Instagram, the actor captioned the still from Marjaavaan, “Ishq aur inteqaam ka koi mazhab nahi, koi ek Rab nahi! (Love and revenge have no religion, no one is god. Marjaavaan shoot begins today!)”
Tara Sutaria, who is all set to debut in the Bollywood industry with Karan Johar’s Student Of The Year 2, will also be a part of the film. Rakul Preet, who will also be seen playing an important role in the film, took to her Instagram account to share the picture of the team of Marjaavaan. She wrote, “And a new journey begins!! #Marjaavaan.. Looking forward to working with this super passionate team.”
The film’s director Milap Zaveri shared Sidharth’s image and wrote: “Power, Passion, Pyar (love)! ‘Marjaavaan’ first look.”
Co-produced by Nikkhil Advani and T-Series’ Bhushan Kumar, Marjaavaan will be another violent yet dramatic love story. The Ek Villain duo, Sidharth and Riteish are back together after four years with a similar project.
The makers of the film are stirring with confidence that Marjaavaan will prove to be a winner and are rather excited to have Milap on board. After the success of Satyameva Jayate, the stakes are already high for this film, while Nikkhil is confident with the director’s work and Tara would bring freshness and excitement to the team.
As reported by Bollywood Hungama, Nikkhil Advani had earlier stated, “My company Emmay Entertainment has been developing this film with Milap for two years and we hope to exceed expectations with Marjaavaan. Be prepared for action, dialogue-baazi Milap style, with a moving tale of love and longing.”
The makers plan to wrap up by March 2019. The movie is slated to hit the theatres on October 2, 2019.
