Sonakshi Sinha killed the Monday blues of her fans after she announced her next project as Happy Bhag Jayegi sequel, which features Diana Penty in the lead.
The actress took it to micro-blogging site Twitter to share the news.
Sonakshi shared 'happy' pictures with co-star Diana and team of the movie and said that she is thrilled to be a part of the movie.
She even released a statement stating, "Im thrilled to be on board of this really positive, vibrant and most importantly happy film unit. I loved the first part and I hope this one is bigger and better in every way. Cant wait to start shooting!"
Interestingly, the movie will be the sequel to 2016 release Happy Bhag Jayegi which featured Diana Penty, Abhay Deol, Ali Fazal and Jimmy Shergill in the key roles.

Talking about the same Diana said, "HBJ was a special film for me, so being part of HBJ Returns is like going back to family! HBJ was a fun, roller- coaster of a ride and Im sure this one is going to be as much of a riot! Im looking forward to the shoot."
Not just Sonakshi, producer Anand L Rai is also elated to have the 'Dabangg' girl on board.
"Happy Bhag Jayegi was a cross-border comedy of errors featuring humorous characters and now we are happy to announce the sequel that has Diana passing on the happy-ness quotient to Sonakshi. Excited to have her on board," Rai said.
Happy Bhag Jayegi sequel is expected to hit the floors this month and will be shot in Punjab.
