Sonam Kapoor along with siblings Rhea Kapoor and Harshvardhan Kapoor graced the Koffee with Karan season 6 couch on Sunday. The sibling trio was on fire and made sure to keep us entertained with their hilarious answers. Sonam also made a startling revelation about crying after seeing Anushka Sharma’s wedding. Yes, you read it right. Kind of makes you feel connected, isn't it?
Anushka Sharma and Virat Kohli tied the knot last year in Italy and their wedding pictures literally broke the internet. Shortly, in May, Sonam Kapoor got married to beau Anand Ahuja and their wedding was nothing short of a dreamy affair as well. Speaking about the brides she liked this year, Sonam said, "I won’t name any bride as they all looked pretty. But, I cried after seeing Anushka getting married. It was one of the weddings I saw." On the other hand, sister Rhea added, "I really liked Anushka. I genuinely felt happy for her."Â
Meanwhile, on the work front, Sonam will next be seen in the movie Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga which also stars Rajkummar Rao, Anil Kapoor and Juhi Chawla in vital roles. This is the first time Sonam will be seen sharing screen space with her father and the trailer has already left us intrigued.Â
Talking about the film, Sonam said, ''I was very skeptical to do a film with my father. We have been approached for films several times. I said yes to Shelly Chopra (director) as I loved the story and I felt this is the film that dad and I should do together. I was enthusiastic about the film. I trusted the director, she was clear about the film.''
''I never found authenticity or idealism in any of the other films. I felt nobody besides me and my father (were apt) to do ‘Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga’. We are glad to know that we were the first choice of the director,'' she added. The new age love story releases in February next year and we cannot wait to see what the father-daughter duo has in store.Â
