Priya Prakash Varrier who became an internet celebrity overnight after a still from her movie got viral is making her Bollywood debut with Sridevi Bungalow and the second teaser of the movie is out.
After watching the teaser it can be safely assumed that the movie is a crime thriller and its plot bears resemblance to the sudden demise of the late veteran actress Sridevi. Although the movie isn't a biopic, yet then with its title and characterization it is trying to encash on the speculations that shadowed her demise.
In fact, the first teaser also featured a scene of Priya's feet dangling out of a bathtub.
The one-minute-18-second clip begins with Priya asking Priyanshu Chatterjee, "Tumhe pata hai kitne logon ne mujhe propose kiya hai? (Do you know how many people have proposed to me?)" All is going seemingly well, until a villainous voice threatens, "Saari duniya tumhari nangi zindagi dekhegi, Sridevi. (The entire world will see your naked life, Sridevi)"
The teaser fails to impress us. The cinematographic frames and dialogue delivery of the lead actor Priyanshu Chatterjee and Priya sounds unconvincing. It even makes you even wonder what is the plot? is there one?
The film written and directed by Prasanth Mampully had triggered many controversies and even court cases. The late actress Sridevi's husband Boney Kapoor had even filed a case against the film, alleging similarity in its theme with the life of his wife.
The makers are yet to announce the release date of the movie.
