Seems like the trend of women being the face for the film has started generating it roots in the Indian cinema. Actress Sridevi has again returned in the box office with her new project 'Mom'.
The teaser of 'Mom' has been released recently and has left audiences perplexed. Sridevi seems to be in search for something, what is it? Is she really searching for something? May be her daughter? Or something else. Or is she just pretending to search for something?
The teaser shall surely leave you in a dilemma.
After her comeback in 2012 super-hit English Vinglish, Sridevi is back with another powerful role which shall again put a great impact on the audiences.
The teaser also showcases the character of Nawazuddin Siddiqui who is in a brilliant disguise. Using prosthetics, the actor is playing an old-age man in the film, who is running away from something. Now, he could be running away from Sridevi or running away from being caught.

There are two Pakistani actors as well, Adnan Siddiqui and Sajal Ali, the latter plays Sridevi's daughter in the film.
In the one minute teaser, you also catch a glimpse of Akshaye Khanna. In MOM, Akshaye too seems to be discovering his own journey. So, are these characters related to each other?
The teaser ends with a monologue of Sridevi where she asks the audience a question – “What will you chose between wrong and very wrong?” This makes people even more curious for the full trailer of the film.
'Mom' has been produced by Sridevi’s husband Boney Kapoor and is directed by Ravi Udyawar. Mom will hit the screens on July 14.
