New Delhi:

Trailer of the much-awaited flick of the year Sui Dhaaga: Made In India is finally out. The Varun Dhawan-Anushka Sharma starrer is inspired by central government’s ‘Make in India’ campaign. The plot of the movie throws light on the life of Mauji (Varun Dhawan), who struggles to get employment but faces failure on numerous occasions.

But his wife Mamta (Anushka Sharma) encourages him to start his own business for his self-respect. So, he picks the sewing machine and continues with what his grand-father used to do and bring back the traditional art forms and handicrafts.

He begins to earn respect and runs the business successfully but later finds out that his hard work is not getting recognised and the label of ‘Made In China’ on his product is wrong.

The makers of the film began the promotion last year on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi through a video presenting tribute to him.

Both Anushka and Varun has been regularly sharing glimpses of their role and getup from the film over their social media accounts.

Helmed by Sharat Katariya, Sui Dhaaga is slated to release on September 28. The music of the film is composed by Anu Malik.
