The who’s who of Bollywood were in attendance at the calendar launch of celebrity photographer Daboo Ratnani on Monday. While social media is flooded with pictures and videos from the event, we came across one video featuring evergreen actress Rekha and it is sure to make you go ROFL!
Even though the actress didn’t shot for the calendar this year, she made sure to pose against the picture backdrops. But, when she realised that one of the photos behind her is of Amitabh Bachchan, the reaction that came out was hilarious. Check out the video here:
The video is going viral on the internet with many reacting to it with laughter emojis. While one user wrote, ‘’This is the best thing on Internet I’ve seen today,†others shared memes of babies and pandas running away from awkward situations.
Dressed in an all-black outfit, big cat-eye glasses, and her signature deep red lip shade, Rekha looked like a total rock star. She was seen laughing and hugging everyone and appeared to be in a great mood.
For those who don’t know, there were rumours that Rekha and Amitabh Bachchan were having an affair much like the storyline of their film Silsila portrayed. Back in the day, the two used to make a super-hit pair on-screen. The duo has worked together in 12 films including Do Anjaane, Khoon Paseena, Ram Balraam, Mukaddar Ka Sikander, Silsila, Mister Natwarlal, Suhag and many more.
Earlier, in an interview with Filmfare in November 1984, Rekha talked about Amitabh Bachchan. She opened about the reason they hide their relationship, and had said, “Why should he have not done it? He did it to protect his image, to protect his family, to protect his children. I think it is beautiful, I don’t care what the public thinks of it.â€
Meanwhile, Amitabh Bachchan is one of the actors to shoot for the calendar. Others include his son Abhishek, daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai, actors Shah Rukh Khan, Vidya, Tiger, Kriti Sanon, Sonakshi Sinha, Sunny Leone, Kartik Aaryan, Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor.Â
