After Kambakkht Ishq, Akshay Kumar and Kareena Kapoor are all set to join forces in Good News. Akshay kicked off shooting with Kareena on Wednesday as he shared the news on his Instagram along with an adorable picture. Relating it to the buzzing 10-year challenge, the actor shared a picture collage that has Bebo and him in Kambakkht Ishq and a present snap of them striking a similar pose.

“2009 to 2019, the #GoodNews is that not much has changed, or so we hope 😜 First day of shoot it is, do send in your best wishes 🙏🏻 #10YearChallenge”, He captioned the image.

Good News, which revolves around a Punjabi married couple trying to have a baby. Kiara and Diljit will also play a married couple in the film.

While Good News went on floor in November last year,  Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh had shared photos and videos from the first day on the sets of the film. Kiara had posted a boomerang video featuring Diljit Dosanjh and herself holding the film's clapboard. Bebo and Akshay were still to join the filming. 

46-year-old filmmaker, Karan Johar announced the release date of Kareena Kapoor, Akshay Kumar, Kiara Advani and Diljit Dosanjh's film on Monday. The Raj Mehta-directed film, which was earlier slated to release on July 19, 2019, will now hit the screens on September 6 this year.

Kareena and Akshay go a long way in their association. Having starred together in a number of films like Aitraaz, Bewafaa, Tashan and Kambakkht Ishq, the duo is all set to revive their onscreen chemistry once again in KJo's upcoming film.

On the work front, after Good News, Kareena will play Shah Jahan’s daughter Jahanara Begum in Karan Johar’s Mughal-era film, Takht. The film also stars Vicky Kaushal, Ranveer Singh Anil Kapoor and Jahnvi Kapoor in lead roles. While Akshay will be seen in Rohit Shetty’s extended franchise of Singham and Simmba where he will be seen playing a good cop ‘Veer Suryavashi’.
