After months of speculations, Ira in June confirmed that she is dating Mishaal. She hosted an AMA session on her Instagram stories. When one person asked Ira if she was dating anyone, she posted a picture of her and Mishaal and also tagged him in the post. A few months back, when Ira celebrated her 21st birthday, Mishaal shared a photo with her and wrote, "happy birthday babe. You’re simple. You get happy with a birthday post. For my birthday I want to binge-watch Netflix together....just about 140 million hours of content. #netflix.''
Meanwhile, it seems like Ira is planning to follow the footsteps of her father and will soon plan to enter the world of movies. Talking about it, he had earlier said, "I’m not quite sure what she has in mind but I suspect that she likes the world of cinema and filmmaking. So maybe that’s where she would want to go, I don’t know."
Ira is the younger daughter of Aamir Khan's two children with his first wife Reena Dutta. Their son Junaid often assists his father in filmmaking. Aamir Khan is now married to filmmaker Kiran Rao and their son Azad is seven-years-old.
