Sanjay Leela Bhansali is all set to shoot his upcoming movie Inshallah with Salman Khan and Alia Bhatt and now reports have it that he will soon conceptualise a movie based on the life of Sahir Ludhianvi biopic, a lyricist and poet.
According to sources , the filmmaker has now zeroed down on Tapsee Pannu and Abhisekh Bachcan for the biopic. This will be their secound venture together, the first one being Manmaarziyaan
"Both Abhishek and Taapsee have loved the story and are looking forward to collaborating again. However, they are yet to sign on the dotted line. Once the formalities are locked, they will begin prep," the source told Mumbai Mirror.
The report further stated that while Abhishek will be playing the role of poet Sahir Ludhianvi, Taapsee will be seen as novelist and poet Amrita Pritam. Meanwhile, the Sahir Ludhianvi biopic has been in the news for a while now. It was earlier reported that Bollywood biggies like Shah Rukh Khan, Irrfan Khan, Deepika Padukone and Priyanka Chopra were approached for the movie.
Apart from this, Taapsee has a lot of films lined up in her kitty. After making Badla a box office sucess, she will also be starring in Jagan Shakti's Mission Mangal alongside Akshay Kumar, Sonakshi Sinha and Vidya Balan and in Tushar Hiranandani's Saand Ki Aankh with Bhumi Pednekar.
