One of the only Indian stars to be in Forbes top 10 richest, ‘rest’ does not seem to feature in Akshay Kumar’s dictionary. With more than four releases in 2019 alone, the star is all set to star in upcoming Raj Mehta’s ‘Good Newwz’. Speaking to a daily, the director breaks down how Akshay Kumar is truly dedicated to his work and that he is fortunate to be working with him. Stating that the star insisted to shoot for a promotional song despite having back injury, the director informed,
"He was also running a fever on the night before the shoot. We weren't expecting him to show up, but surprisingly, he did, and even managed to pull off the choreography set by Bosco [Martis],"
"As soon as I announced cut, I could see that he was still in pain. I had heard numerous stories of his professionalism over his 25-year career, but to witness it first-hand was amazing’’ the director in awe of Kumar’s dedication added.
According to a source from the set informs Akshay has injured himself during a workout in Chandigarh for the song, "Akshay had sustained a back injury a few months ago, and it was triggered during a workout session. The team deployed a physiotherapist on set. Akshay completed the shoot before schedule."
Good Newwz sattring Akshay Kumar, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani releases this December 27.
