Its celebration time for the Kapoor family as Rishi Kapoor has fully recovered from cancer and has returned to Mumbai safe and sound after 11 months and 11 days. As Ranbir Kapoor will ring in his 37th birthday in a week and his girlfriend, actress Alia Bhatt has all plans in place to make the occasion big and if rumours are to be believed, both the families have some grand announcement on the day.
Rumours are also rife that Alia and Ranbir all set to surprise fans with the news of their engagement at the birthday celebrations.
Although the love birds had repeatedly denied the rumours of their marriage to be held soon, the actress was reported to be hunting for avenue in Italy.
It’s not just Ranbir’s birthday but also a second birth for his dad Rishi Kapoor,” a source has been quoted saying by an entertainment portal. “Ranbir and Alia decided to combine the two birthdays, Ranbir’s and the new birth of his Dad into one celebration,” the source added.
Rishi, who turned 67 on September 4, returned to India on September 11.
The report further claims that the guest list would include almost every big name from Bollywood.
On the work front, Ranbir and Alia will be seen next in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The supernatural romantic drama, co-starring Amitabh Bachchan and Mouni Roy, is scheduled to hit the screens during summer next year.
