Alia Bhatt is just 25 and already proud owner of three homes. The actress who recently turned to a Youtuber has recently lent a leaf from her personal space, that is her abode in Mumbai. Chronicling her account of moving to a new house that she has painstakingly paid for and decorated, Alia is just like any other girls who are adulting and learning ways of leaving alone.

The video shows Alia opening a giant, ornate green door to her house. She is joined by her sister Shaheen and their mother Soni Razdan.

“Moving out of my house was a very very special experience because it was the first time I was moving away from my home and into my own house...Initially, I was gonna move in alone then I decided to take my sister along with me and she was more than happy. She decided to live part-time with me and part-time with my mom” Alia reveals in the video that has glimpses of her sister and mother helping her to set up the house her way. Alia even confessed that she likes things to be kept in a certain way.

Their living room is lit with artistry lamps, flushed with a dash of yellow glow. There is a wooden bookshelf in a corner which Alia and her sister have decorated with favourite souvenirs and knick-knacks. The window is surrounded by trees with a white and blue couch underneath. There is also a wooden cabinet that holds all their choicest glassware. The kitchen is put together with white tiles and mint green cabinets.

Alia's private den is completely removed from the glamour associated with Bollywood as possible, and even the lighting is muted, in deliberate contrast to the harsh spotlight—literal and figurative—in which the actress usually finds herself.

Have a look at Alia's new home!
