Alia Bhatt and Varun Dhawan recently grazed the cover of a fashion magazine and raised temperature with their oh-so-hot looks. However, one particular shot of Alia from the cover was instantly called out by fashion critic, Diet Sabya on Instagram. A story by Diet Sabya claimed that Alia’s look was inspired by singer Dua Lipa's recent photo shoot. They wrote, "Magazines and their overt references."
However, Alia was not ready to let it go easily. She took to her Instagram story and wrote a badass reply, "I shot for this cover on the 6th of February 2019. If I am not mistaken the apparent "reference" was only uploaded on 24th of Feb. Not to go all true detective on you guys.. but give a girl some credit. Toodles."
Though the similarities between the two covers are uncanny, the timeline of the two shots like Alia mentioned in the story are different.Â

On the work front, Alia is currently busy promoting her upcoming film, Kalank. The film also stars Sonakshi Sinha, Varun Dhawan, Aditya Roy Kapur and Sonakshi Sinha in lead roles. The film will hit the screens on 17 April.
Alia will be also seen in Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra which also stars Ranbir Kapoor in a vital role. Alia is also set to make it big in South Indian film industry. She will star in director SS Rajamouli's upcoming flick RRR. She will be seen romancing Ram Charan in the film.Â
Talking about this, Alia had said, “Working with Rajamouli sir is a big tick off my bucket list.. also to be alongside Ram Charan and Jr. NTR is an absolute honour.. I am very excited about this experience and also working in the south for the first time.. I begin shoot in less than a month.. I will be playing the role of Sita, and the film is set in 1920s backdrop.’’
