Alia Bhatt is making her Telegu debut with SS Rajamouli, highly ambitious film RRR and now rumours have it that her paycheck is more than any of the A-lister South Indian actress.

According to reports Alia Bhatt is being paid whopping Rs 9 crore for a cameo in the film that will be mounted on a budget equivalent to Baahubali: The Conclusion. Apparently, with such an amount, Alia has surpassed South Indian actresses like Nayanthara and Anushka Shetty who had been in the industry for several years now and has given back to back blockbuster movies.

Rumour also has it that Nayanthara, who got around Rs 4-5 crore for her upcoming movies like Rajinikanth's Darbar and Vijay's Bigil. Rajamouli's other actress Anushka Shetty from Baahubali: The Conclusion is reportedly getting about Rs 4 crore as remuneration for her upcoming movie. Also, Alia has got a better paycheck than Shraddha Kapoor, who received around Rs 6 crore for Prabhas' recently-released movie Saaho.

Alia Bhatt recently cleared that she will have a guest appearance in the film and not a full-fledged role. The actress during a press session admitted that she has a small role. "After I was launched by Karan Johar I had two dream directors on my wish list.

Sanjay Leela Bhansali and S S Rajamouli. I don't care about the length of my role in RRR. Just working with him is enough. I've taken lessons in Telugu to do this film. Can't say I speak the beautiful language like a native. But I am trying." said Alia.

She is expected to be on the sets of the film in September in Hyderabad to start shooting for her role of a headstrong character named Sita. Alia will be romancing Ram Charan. The movie also stars Jr NTR.

RRR is a pan-Indian movie which will be released in 10 Indian languages that include Telugu, Tamil and Hindi languages. RRR will see the light of the day on 30 July 2020.
