Anupam Kher is returning to movies with One Day: Justice Delivered and soon fans of the 64-year-old actor will get to know much about his life and struggle through his autobiography, Lessons Life Taught Me Unknowingly".
The actor who has been very vocal and active on social media about his career and national issues recently in an exclusive interview with News Nation made clear that he is in no mood of retiring and has just met the interval of his life.
When asked about acting both in India and in Hollywood, the actor said, "I wanted to work somewhere where I could experience being a newcomer all over again. I enjoy struggles of memorising dialogues, making food for myself when shooting there. But, whenever I come back to India there is no country like India. " He also mentioned that titles like legendary, veteran are a hints that an actor should retire.
Anupam Kher was part of an English web-series, medical drama "New Amsterdam" where played the role of Dr Vijay Kapoor, a neurologist.
Talking about acting with Esha Gupta who has been his students, he said he never judge people and appreciated her performance.
The actor talking about his political ambitions made clear that he is in no mood to join any party now and if he thinks of doing so, he will make his decision public.
Further talking about actor's role in One Day: Justice Delivered, Kher revealed that he is playing the part of a retired judge who realised that he gave wrong judgments in 4 cases and tried to correct his mistakes.
"One Day..." revolves around a crime branch special officer who investigates the serial disappearance of high profile individuals in a state capital.
The movie also features Zarina Wahab, Kumud Mishra, Zakir Hussain, Rajesh Sharma, Deepshikha and Murali Sharma.
The film is produced by Ketan Patel, Kamlesh Singh and Swati Singh and directed by Ashok Nanda.
