Bollywood celebs enjoy immense fan following, thanks to their superhit movies and glamorous life. But finding love in strange places and from people unaware of their star status is rare. Recently Akshay Kumar shared a heart-warming encounter of being served gur-roti by an elderly couple unaware of who they are. Now Anushka Sharma in her recent trip to Bhutan came across a similar kind of experience where she got to mix up with local people of the country and tasted their warm hospitality.
Sharing a photo with a family of four, Anushka recounts how she and Virat Kohli we stopped by a small village on a mountain to pet and feed a baby calf during a trek and was treated with a warm welcome and tea wrote “ The owner of the house asked us if we were tired and wanted to have a cup of tea ? So we went in to the home of this beautiful and warm family who had absolutely no idea who we were and yet they treated us with such warmth and love. We spent some time with them chatting and drinking tea and the whole time they just know us as two tired trekkers !”
Calling this experience as ‘simple ‘ and ‘genuine’ the ‘Zero’ actress further added, “Whoever knows Virat and me very closely, know that both of us live for such moments of genuine, simple & pure human connection . It fills us with such joy and peace knowing that they just wanted to be kind to two random foreigners ( plus our guide ) without seeking anything in return. If this is not the true meaning of life then i dont know what is . A memory we will cherish forever “

The photos of the cricketer-actor pair from their vacation have gone viral on social media. Anushka Sharma also posted a few pictures and a video in her Instagram stories, recalling her childhood memories and sharing the sight of "hiking in the mountains".
