Arjun Kapoor’s friendly diss on Hrithik Roshan and Tiger Shroff who comes together for Siddharth Anand’s War did not go down well for fans. With the shoot of the action-movie nearing Tiger took to Instagram to share pics of his fellow co-star and idol Hrithik with director Anand seated causally on the floor. “I got your back sir @hrithikroshan and hopefully hes @itssiddharthanand got ours! #onemonthtogo #2ndoct #war #hrithikvstiger’ Tiger wrote tagging both and Hrithik Roshan.
Replying to the tag, Siddharth replied, “@tigerjackieshroff I got a lot more than just your back.” Among the strands of comments was also Arjun who, in a seemingly friendly banter wrote, “The Legend & 2 regular actors...”.
While many fans were accepting of the friendly banter, others were quick to criticise Arjun’s comment on calling Hrithik and Tiger ‘Regular’. ‘’Look who's talking about regular actors’’ one user wrote, ‘’khud kuch karlo sir ab to apki film kab ati hai jati pta hi nhi chlta’’ another commented.
Last week Hrithik also took to his Instagram handle to acknowledge how much he will miss working with ‘War’ crew specially Tiger. Sharing a wrap-up shoot of the movie, Hrithik wrote, “I still have a day shoot left. But since everyone started celebrating the wrap, here’s half confused me joining in the fun. I just hope they remember that the last scene is still left. What I’m going to miss most is working with you Tiger Shroff. Everybody else, enjoy the party and see you at work day after.”
War also starring Vaani Kapoor in the lead role is scheduled for October 2, 2019 release.
