Model-turned-actor Arjun Rampal, on Sunday performed the last rites for his mother Gwen Rampal, who passed away after battling with high-grade breast cancer.

The actor’s former wife Mehr Jesia along with his two daughters Mahikaa and Myra were present at the funeral. Many Bollywood celebrities including, rumoured girlfriend Gabriella Demetriades, Gurmeet Choudhary, Harshvardhan Rane, Abhishek Kapoor and Pragya Yadav, came to give their condolence at the sad demise of Gwen.
On Monday, the actor shared a picture of his mother on Instagram with a heartfelt caption that read, “After a long and successful fight my mother fought with her cancer, she breath her last on the 27th of Oct. In the time of our grievance, I just know that I have many people to thank and be grateful to, for giving her those extra years with us. Thank you #CarloGreco #thechampalimaudfoundation #DrLarryNorton #sloaneketteringmemorialnyc all the faculty and doctors at #Kokilabeinhospital @lalitkmodi my dearest #family #friends and all of you who have prayed for her. Gwen was diagnosed with a triple negative breast cancer in 2015 and the actor even took to Twitter to share the grieving news with his fans and friends.
