Arpita Khan Sharma and her husband, actor Aayush Sharma were blessed with a baby girl on Salman Khan's 54th birthday. The two have named their daughter Ayat and even announced it on social media. Aayush wrote on his Instagram, “We’ve been blessed with a beautiful baby girl. Thank you so much for all the love and blessings for Ayat Sharma” and Arpita wrote, “Welcoming our daughter into the world. Grateful & Overjoyed [sic]”. Ayat is an Islamic name that means ‘sign of God’s greatness’.
The couple is already parents to three-year-old son Ahil. "With great joy and immense pleasure, we announce that we have been blessed with a baby girl. On this joyous occasion, we would like to thank our family, friends and all our well-wishers for their unconditional support. "We also extended a humble thank you to our media friends and to our fans for their constant love and support. This journey couldn't have been complete without you all," the statement from the family read.
Salman, who rang in his birthday with his family and friends on Thursday night, took to Twitter to welcome the new born into the family. "Welcome to this beautiful world Ayat. Thank you Arpita and Ayush for the best birthday gift for the whole family. "May everyone who reads this bless her and may she grow up and make everyone proud. Thank you for all the love and respect. You all have been very kind, thank you," the actor posted on Twitter.

It's been more than four years since Arpita Khan Sharma and Aayush Sharma tied the knot. The couple, who had a big fat Indian wedding in Hyderabad has been together for a long time before entering marital bliss. The news of Arpita’s second pregnancy did rounds in June after she was spotted with a bump during the success part of Bharat.
Aayush, who made his acting debut with Love Yatri, will next star in an action-drama film, titled Kwatha.
