Actor Shikha Malhotra, seen only in few movies is gaining much applause and recognition for volunteering to work as a health workers at a BMC-run trauma hospital in Jogeshwari, Mumbai in the wake of coronavirus.
The actress who has worked with Sanjay Mishra in Kanchli, began work as a nurse on Friday. Inspite of holding a graduate degree in nursing from Vardhaman Mahavir Medical College and Safrdarjung Hospital, the actess was more drawn towards the glamour and entertainment world. But giving up to the need of the hour, the actress has started working as a nurse for the first time in her life.
The actress shared her pictures in white coat, masks and stethoscope from the Hinduhrudaysamrat Balasaheb Thackeray Trauma Hospital where she has been deputed to work at the isolation ward catering to the coronaviris affected patients. Shikha also urged people to stay safe and stay at home.

Incidentally, Sikha's mother also is a nurse by profession and has been working relentlessly serving Covod-19 patients.
