Mumbai:
Several Bollywood personalities today attended a condolence meeting held in the memory of Dr Ashok Chopra, father of actress Priyanka Chopra, at a suburban five-star hotel here.
Dr Ashok Chopra, 62, who had served as a physician in the Indian Army, passed away yesterday afternoon at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani hospital after a prolonged battle with cancer.
A string of tinsel town personalities including Vidya Balan, Kareena Kapoor, Rani Mukherjee, Madhur Bhandarkar and others attended the prayer meeting held at J W Marriott in suburban Vile Parle.
Dressed in white, Bollywood's who's who, including Kareena Kapoor with sister Karisma, Rishi Kapoor and wife Neetu, Vidya Balan, Rani Mukherjee, Ranveer Singh, Shilpa Shetty, Deepika Padukone, attended the meeting.
Also spotted were Zoya Akhtar, Rakesh Roshan, Rohan Sippy, Imran Khan, Uday Chopra, Arbaaz Khan with wife Maliaka, Madhur Bhandarkar, Anurag Basu, Hiroo Johar, Ashutosh Gowarikar, Nikhil Advani, Dia Mirza, Isha Koppikar and others.
