On the auspicious occasion of Karva Chauth, Sonakshi Sinha took to her Instagram handle to shared a special poster from her upcoming film, Dabangg 3. The actress shared her look as Rajjo, decked up in a beautiful saree for the special occasion of Karwa Chauth. Sonakshi captioned her post, ''Rajjo Pandey yaani ki Mrs. Chulbul Pandey ki oar se aap sabhi pativrata aur #Dabangg patniyo ko Happy Karwa Chauth.''
Earlier, Sonakshi had shared her first look from the film as well. She had written, ''RAJJO is back!!! From Dabangg, to Dabangg 3...Its homecoming. Day 1 of shoot for me today, wish me luck.''
Speaking about the film previously, Sonakshi Sinha told news agency IANS: "I think it will be very fun because there is an element in Dabangg series, where artistes come and they do a song for the film. This time there will not be Munni in the song and there will be Munna in the song. So it will be a lot more fun."
Dabangg 3 will feature Salman Khan as a 20-year-old in certain sequences. A source was quoted by Mumbai Mirror as saying, “In the flashback portions, Chulbul is a man in his 20s, and Salman has been hitting the gym to get the required look. While it’s Rajjo in the current era, the flashback features another actress.”
Recently, Salman Khan took to social media to release the motion poster of Dabangg 3. Asking for a fabulous welcome from his fans, he wrote, "Aa Rahe Hain! Chulbul Robinhood Pandey. Theek 100 din baad. Swagat Toh Karo Humara! #100DaystoDabangg3 (sic).''
Dabangg 3 will also feature Arbaaz Khan, Mahie Gill, Mahesh Manjrekar, Niketan Dheer reprising their roles from the franchise. Pankaj Tripathi and Mahesh Manjrekar's daughter Saiee will be pivotal addition to the cast. The film is set to release on December 20, 2019.
