Bollywood is bitten by the wedding bug this year! After Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh got married in an intimate ceremony in Italy, Priyanka Chopra is all set to tie the knot with her boyfriend, American singer and songwriter Nick Jonas, in Jodhpur. The Bajirao Mastani stars, who tied the sacred knot a week ago, are now sailing in the epitome of their celebratory events, one party at a time. Over the weekend, Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone kicked off the Mumbai chapter of post-wedding festivities with a party at a suburban five star. After dancing the night away at a DJ bash, Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh threw their second lavish wedding reception in Mumbai last night.
The event took place at Grand Hyatt and was limited only for close family and friends. Several members of the media were also invited for the reception. The event was hosted by Bhavnanis for their extended family and friends. Reports suggest that Ranveer’s father, Jugjeet Singh Bhavnani's friends attended the celebration in huge numbers. Apart from them, Ranveer's extended family turned up in big numbers for this function.
The newly-weds, Ranveer and Deepika, were consistently donning ace designer Sabyasachi’s creations for their past wedding festivities but this time, the much-in-love couple chose one of the top fashion designers of India, Abu Jani Sandeep Khosla and Rohit Bal. As the couple made a grand entry to the venue, all eyes were glued to their beautiful outfits.
While Deepika opted for an ivory and gold chikankari Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla sari, Ranveer wore a Rohit Bal ensemble.
The breathtakingly beautiful Chiffon Chikankari Ensemble in ivory that Deepika wore features a trail styled with a demi-sari. The outfit was a hand-embroidered on by the artisans of Lucknow.
The designer duo Abu Jani-Sandeep Khosla also dressed up the Padukone family. Deepika’s parents opted for a chikankari ensemble while sister, Anisha Padukone wore Resham.Â
