Deepika Padukone and Ranveer Singh tied the knot on November 14 and 15 at Italy’s Lake Como in two different styles, one in Konkani and the other in Sindhi styled wedding. The fairytale wedding was kept a private affair and no images were leaked over the internet until the couple themselves uploaded over their social media handles. The destination wedding was attended by some close friends and their families which is why the celebrity couple has organised two receptions in India. The first reception will take place at Bengaluru on November 21 and the second one in Mumbai on November 28.
Bengaluru Reception – The first reception will take place at Deepika’s hometown. The event will be held at Leela Palace Hotel and the reason for choosing this particular hotel is because DP loves an Italian restaurant in New York and their franchise in Bengaluru drew Deepika to The Leela. Although, the food at the reception is said to be mostly South Indian. Even, Deepika’s mother has also gone tasting the food couple of times.
Mumbai Reception – The second reception will be held in Mumbai’s Grand Hyatt. This reception is mainly for the B-Town friends of the newly wed couple. The event will be star-studded and several big names are expected to attend the reception on November 28.
Recently, the B-town's viral couple was again spotted at the Mumbai airport in the morning today where the newlyweds were showered with love from their fans. Both the actors were spotted wearing ethnic attires. What caught our eyes was DP's mangalsutra around her neck! The duo was spotted donning similar round frame sunglasses at the airport.
