Deepika Padukone, after turning eyeballs with her extravagant marriage to Ranveer Singh, reveals some more juicy memories from their early dating days. The couple has been at the centre of the limelight since they tied the knot on November 14 and 15 at Lake Como, Italy, in presence of close friends and family. Deepika recently opened up about her first special encounter with her Simmba husband.
Deepika became nostalgic as she remembered her first special meeting with Ranveer, when the actor realised that there was certain chemistry happening. In a report published in TOI, the Piku actor said she was in a studio when she met him and he was openly flirting, despite the fact that he was dating somebody else at that point. She further added that once they began dating, they would often meet at various restaurants, but also revealed that their very first special moment was during the preparations of Goliyon Ki Raas Leela: Ram Leela at Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s house.
The actor remembered how they were having lunch at the filmmaker’s place and a piece of crab got stuck in her tooth and to make the matter more awkward for her, Ranveer mocked her saying ‘there’s crab in your mouth’ and Deepika responded back by saying, ‘then take it out’! She confessed that it was a scene, neither of the three would ever forget.
The celebrity couple was in a relationship since last six years but never officially accepted the fact of being together. Their families reportedly met three years ago. Deepika had taken to Twitter and Instagram account to share the date for their BIG day.
On the work front, Ranveer is now busy with the promotions of his upcoming flick Simmba. Produced under the banner of Dharma Productions, Reliance Entertainment and Rohit Shetty Pictures, Simmba features Ranveer Singh, Sara Ali Khan in lead roles and Sonu Sood, Siddharth Jadhav and Ashutosh Rana in pivotal roles.
