Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Bajirao Mastani’ is keeping Bollywood queen Deepika Padukone quite busy nowadays.
In the movie, the actress will be seen opposite Ranveer Singh (Bajirao) and play the role of Mastani.
According to latest news, she is expected to wear a 20 kg armour for a sword wielding sequence. This is not the first time however. Deepika also wore a 30 kg lehenga for Bhansali’s ‘Ram-Leela’.
Nowadays, she is taking lessons in sword fighting and martial arts for perfection in her on-screen role.
‘Bajirao Mastani’ is a story based on the life of Maratha Warrior Peshwa Baji Rao played by Ranveer.
The movie also features Priyanka Chopra and Aditya Pancholi, who will play the antagonist in the film.
