As per a report by boxofficeindia.com, ‘Dream Girl’ has managed to churn out Rs 10.75 crore on its tenth day at the box office, taking the total collection of second weekend to Rs 24.75 crore. The movie has recorded the fourth best second weekend of the year 2019 after 'Kabir Singh', 'Uri - The Surgical Strike' and 'Mission Mangal'.

‘Dream Girl’ has overall collected Rs 94.87 crore as of now in 10 days at the Indian box office. The film stars Nushrat Bharucha as the female lead along with Annu Kapoor, Manjot Singh, Nidhi Bisht, Vijay Raaz and others. The film is Ayushmann and Nushrat’s highest opener. It is Ayushmann’s second hit of the year after his last film Article 15 collected Rs 65.45 crore at the domestic box office.

Talking about his character, Ayushmann recently said, "In our country there has been a tradition, whenever Ramleela happens, a boy becomes Sita. But we never gave this any importance. This doesn't happen anywhere but in India. I want to do films which tell our lesser talked about stories."

Helmed by Raaj Shandilya, the movie also features Annu Kapoor, Vijay Raaz, Abhishek Bannerjee, Manjot Singh, Nidhi Bisht, Rajesh Sharma, Raj Bhansali in pivotal roles.

Bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor, Shobha Kapoor and Aashish Singh, the film was released on September 13.
