Sudhakar Bokade, who produced movies like Izzatdaar and Saajan, breathed his last at the Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on Sunday night.
"He was hospitalised on July 6 after he suffered a heart attack and he passed away on Sunday night", his daughter Divya Bokade confirmed the news.
His last rites will be conducted on Monday afternoon.
57-year old, Bokade was a part of the film world for over two decades.
During his stint as a producer, he gave the industry movies like Sapne Saajan Ke, Dhanwaan, Kalinga, Prahaar, Sauda and Yeh Pyaar Hi Toh Hai.
He is survived by his two daughters Divya and Kiran, and son Krishna.
Film industry folks will always remember this man as the one who was responsible for giving break to names like Adesh Shrivastav (music director), Sukhwinder Singh (singer), fight masters Shyam Kaushal and Chettah Yagnesh Shetty, choreographers BH Tarun Kumar, Rekha Chinni Prakash, Reema Rakesh Nath (writer) and Kabirlal (cinematographer).
