Indian pop singer Usha Uthup turns 72 years today. The singer has proven that there's no one like her and can never be. Usha who was born into a Tamil Iyer family in 1947 has done several songs. Some of her famous songs like 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna', 'Hai Ye Maya', 'Yeh Raat Mona Lisa' were featured in many movies. Here's a list of top 7 songs of Usha Uthup that proves she is the legend. 


1. Dum Maro Dum: R D Burman and the brilliant singer Usha both worked together in 1971 for film 'Hare Rama Hare Krishna' where they gave their voice to 'Dum Maro Dum'.


2. Hari Om Hari: The soundtrack is inspired by Eruption's version of "One Way Ticket". The popular singer Bappi Lahiri composed 'Hari Om Hari' for 1980's 'Pyaara Dushman' film where Usha sang this song for the female character 

 3. Ramba: The song was composed by Bappi Lahiri and sung by an amazing singer Usha Uthup in 1981.

 
4. Hai Ye Maya: She shook everyone when she recorded 'Hai Ye Maya' for Shah Rukh Khan's Don 2 movie.

 
5. Auva Auva Koi Yahan Nache: Bappi Lahiri and Usha Uthup did this song together for the film 'Disco Dancer' in 1982. 


6. Uri Uri Baba: She again reunited with Bappi Lahiri for 'Uri Uri Baba' song in 1991 for 'Dushman Devta'. 


7. Darling: Uthup took lead with Rekha Bhardwaj in Vishal Bhardwaj's 'Saat Khoon Maaf'. She sang 'Darling' song in which Priyanka Chopra was featured. 


8. One Two Cha Cha Cha: This song was composed by RD Burman and Usha Uthup became the voice for 'One.. Two.. Cha Cha Cha' in 'Shalimar' movie. The film starred Dharmendra, Zeenat Aman, and Shammi Kapoor. 


9. Doston Se Pyar Kiya: Usha used her power-packed voice to communicate the menace of the antagonist in Shakaal. 


10. Vande Mataram: Singer even gave us goosebumps in Karan Johar's 'Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham' with her rendition of our national song 'Vande Mataram'.
