Filmmaker Karan Johar says he enjoys doing television as well as films and for him the success and failure in both fields matter a lot.
Karan judges reality shows like "Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa" and "India's Got Talent".
He is also a host of celebrity chat show "Koffee with Karan". "Every Thursday TRP rating comes and I call the team to check if it is up or down and why it is like that. I look at television as I look at my films.
"I don't look at television as mistress in my life. Television is my spouse and it will always be one of my spouses like films. I am married to two mediums, film and television," he added.
When I am part of anything I want it to do well. I want to make sure it works," Karan told PTI.
