IIFA, one of the most prestigious awards that completed 20 years recently will start today at the SVP Stadium in Mumbai.

 Earlier there were reports about actor Arjun Kapoor and Ayushmann Khurrana will host the award night but now the tables have turned and one of the hosts have been replaced by national heartthrob gearing up for an Imtiaz Ali film opposite rumoured girlfriend Sara Ali Khan.

Well, according to media reports, the organisers have dropped Arjun Kapoor and now Kartik Aaryan will be hosting the show. Meanwhile, Arjun Kapoor recently shared a story on his Instagram where he was taking a road trip with a cabbie in Jaipur whose name is Ranveer Singh. Intrigued by the name, Arjun shared it on the photo-sharing app tagging best pal Ranveer Singh. "Humshakaal Nahi Naamshakaal" quipped the Gunday actor. 

 

Tonight will be the night of all the Bollywood stars coming together to celebrate cinema. Everyone, right from Madhuri Dixit, Salman Khan, Katrina Kaif, Sara Ali Khan, Dhvani Bhanushali, Jonita Gandhi and several other celebs with set the stage on fire with their sizzling performances. 

But, Desi girl Priyanka Chopra will be absent from the celebration because she will be busy rejoicing on the occasion of her husband Nick Jonas’s 27th birthday. The actress however shared a throwback post to wish IIFA for completing 20 years. <

Ayushmann Khurrana's 'Andhadhun' has won 13 nominations including Best Film, Best Actor, Best Actress.Other films which also got best picture and direction nods include Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s “Padmaavat” and Meghna Gulzar’s “Raazi” with 10 nominations each, followed by Rajkumar Hirani’s “Sanju” with seven nods and another National Award winner, Amit Sharma’s “Badhaai Ho!” with six.

The nominees for best actor in a leading role (female) include Alia Bhatt for “Raazi”, Deepika Padukone for “Padmaavat”, Neena Gupta for “Badhaai Ho!” and Rani Mukerji for “Hichki”.

Rajkummar Rao (“Stree”), Ranbir Kapoor (“Sanju”), Ranveer Singh (“Padmaavat”) and Vicky Kaushal (“Raazi”) have bagged nominations in the best actor in a leading role (male) category.
