Is Ranveer ending contract with condom brand for wifey Deepika

New Delhi:

Ranveer Singh took the nation by surprise when he decided to break stereotypes and be the face of a condom brand. He was their brand ambassador for a long period of time and their collaboration has yielded some great and witty advertisement campaigns and meme fodder. However, latest reports suggest this is not going to happen any more.

According to Forbes India the actor has ended his contract with the company on 'amicable' terms and it's a mutual decision taken by both the parties. His contract with the brand has lapsed and they have no plans of renewing it.

It's been five years since Ranveer Singh was signed in as the brand ambassador by the brand. While no official confirmation about the same is out yet, a source close to the development confirmed the news to Forbes saying, “Both agreed to part ways amicably,”.

Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone tied the knot in November last year and the condom company didn't miss this opportunity to congratulate the newlyweds on Twitter with a sharp-witted post.

Though the reason for ending this partnership is unknown, the same source believes it could be the change in his marital status or demand for a steep rise in his fees. Rumours are afloat that Vicky Kaushal may be roped in as his replacement.

The condom brand is known for its strong social media game and their witty tweets and Ranveer was instrumental in increasing its sales to a large extent. Their social media campaigns are out of the box and they hate anything ordinary. Let's hope the end of this partnership doesn't change their fortunes in the sales.
