After sharing beautiful chemistry with Anushka Shetty, Baahubali fame Prabhas is all set to romance Shraddha Kapoor in his upcoming flick ‘Saaho’. Reports of her playing only a cameo role were making rounds over the internet but now the actor has finally cleared the air about the same.
The 38-year old actor said Shraddha is the ‘best choice’ for the role. Prabhas told PTI, "I have never worked with a Bollywood actor before and she is the best choice for the role. We are very lucky to have her on board. Her character is not just like coming and going or just there for the songs’’.
He further added by saying, "The character is very important and adds a lot of weight to the story. It is one of the most important characters in the film. She has some amazing action sequences also. It is a very strong character’’.
The south actor is also impressed with the amount of hard-work Shraddha has put in to ensure that she does justice with the role. "Shraddha is a very hard-working actor and she is very comfortable (on the sets). Most of the actresses I have worked with have started their career in South and then shifted to Bollywood. Shraddha is already a Bollywood star, but she is very dedicated’’, he said.
The actor also revealed that Shraddha is currently shooting for the action sequences in US and will join the team on the first week of January.
