After much wait, the first trailer of Rajkummar Rao and Kangana Ranaut starrer Judgementall Hai Kya is out following dual launch events in New Delhi and Mumbai. The trailer introduces us to Bobby and Keshav, portrayed by Kangana and Rajkummar respectively. The two are suspects of a murder. Bobby is charming, paranoid and innocent, who chooses asylum over jail term. Keshav, on the other hand, moves to next door with a girl.
The film was previously titled Mental Hai Kya, but underwent a last-minute change after controversy surrounding its depiction of mental health.
When asked about Judgemental Hai Kya at an event, Rajkummar said, "It’s an amazing script as it is a very quirky and different comedy. Kangana is such a powerhouse performer and we are coming together after Queen along with Ekta Kapoor (producer) so it’s going to be a lot of fun.”
The film, directed by Prakash Kovelamudi and produced by Ekta Kapoor's Balaji Telefilms, will be released on July 26 with some minor changes, as suggested by the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC).
