On Sunday, Rani Mukerji was joined by cousins Kajol along with son Yug and Ayan Mukerji for Durga Puja celebrations. Both the bong beauties looked charming as they celebrated the festivity together. Amitabh Bachchan and Jaya Bachchan were also present at the venue. While Kajol was in a yellow and green silk sari, her son was in a yellow kurta pyjama.

Rani looked stunning in a red silk sari paired with heavy traditional jewellery. Amitabh and Jaya were twinning in white and posed with them for a group picture. Veteran actress Tanuja had also joined in the celebrations and posed with the happy group.

Priyanka Chopra Jonas, who is in the city these days for the promotion of her upcoming movie The Sky Is Pink, also joined in for the Durga Ashtami celebrations with Rani and Kajol. The actress wore a white salwar suit, embroidered beautifully and was seen posing for the paparazzi.

On the work front, Kajol was last seen in Helicopter Eela, which failed to perform at the box office. She is rumoured to be starring in husband Ajay Devgn’s Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior.

Amitabh is currently busy with multiple projects, including the quiz show Kaun Banega Crorepati. The actor has already wrapped shooting for Ayan’s upcoming film, Brahmastra. It stars Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor in lead roles, besides Mouni Roy. The film will hit screens next year.

Rani Mukerji will be next seen in Mardaani 2. It will see Rani reprise the role of cop Shivani Shivaji Roy. "I feel glad that we released the first look of 'Mardaani 2' during Navratri, Durga Puja. No one can be happier than me because during this festival, we worship Ma Durga. And there is an avatar of Ma Durga in 'Mardaani 2', so I feel happy that the first glimpse of the film came out during Durga Puja festival," Rani recently told reporters.
