Anticipation around Kamal Jain’s much-awaited project, Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi, starring Kangana Ranaut is expanding with every passing day. Finally, the wait is over as Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi trailer is out!

Films' director Kamal Jain had said in a statement, "The teaser of the film has been liked by one and all and created enough buzz around the film and I hope the way the trailer has come out will add more excitement around the film. "The trailer is certainly next level and I personally believe it is one of the finest trailers of recent times. The film has really shaped up well, reflecting our vision of creating a visual spectacle on the big screen."

The trailer opens with the voiceover of the megastar, Amitabh Bachchan that says, “When everyone was succumbing to violence and oppression, from the womb of India’s soil rose Manikarnika.”

Queen Manikarnika’s grand introduction is followed by shots of her entering her magnificent palace. Kangana looks enigmatic doing difficult fighting stunts that involve killing a ferocious raging Tiger with an arrow. In another shot, Kangana looks fierce riding her horse.

Kangana oozes grandeur sitting atop her throne with a baby in her lap. The queen actress is sure to win hearts looking like a raging commander well- versed in a sword fight!

Helmed by Krish, this Kangana Ranaut-starrer is slated to hit the theatres on the occasion of Republic Day of 2019. The movie may clash with Hrithik Roshan-starrer Super 30.

Ever since the film went on floors, Manikarnika has been in the news for no good reasons. One of the most controversial films of the year, Manikarnika had to face a lot of backlash from its cast and crew.

The film will release in over 50 countries in Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, Shariq Patel, CEO of Zee Studios stated. With only a month to go before the film release, the makers are putting in every effort to bring the best while maintaining the hype steady going.
