Bollywood’s latest heartthrob couple have found a place in Karan Johar’s hypothetical making of Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 2. The filmmaker who made a mark on Bollywood, with his debut in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai which starred Shah Rukh Khan, Rani Mukherjee, and Kajol, says that if he were to ever make a remake, he would cast actors Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Janhvi Kapoor in it.

The ‘nepotism’ crowned filmmaker has made a comeback with his sizzling radio talk show, ‘Calling Karan Season 2’ and has already raised the temperature across media. One of the listeners probed the ‘Ae Dil Hai Mushkil’ director about his plans on making the remake of ‘Kuch Kuch Hota Hai’ and if so, who will bag the leading roles.

Karan replied in a heartbeat that he has his set ready, and said, “if I ever made Kuch Kuch Hota Hai 2, I would cast Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Janhvi Kapoor in it.”

Popularly known as Alia’s godfather in the Bollywood industry, Karan launched the versatile actor with his 2012 release Student of the Year. Jahnvi too was backed by his support, while making a debut in K Jo’s directorial venture ‘Dhadak’, which was an adaptation from Marathi hit ‘Sairat’. Ranbir has worked with Karan in films like Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani and is currently shooting for K Jo’s next flick ‘Brahmastra’. Ayan Mukherji directed ‘Brahmastra’ also stars Alia Bhatt and Amitabh Bachchan.

Recently, Karan had announced the making of his next multi-starrer period drama ‘Takht’ which will star Jahnvi Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor, and Vicky Kaushal among other big names of Bollywood fraternity. The movie is expected to release in 2020.

On the television front, Karan Johar will be seen as a judge on India’s Got Talent’s upcoming edition. He has also shot for Koffee With Karan’s season 6, which will go on air soon.
