Poonam Damania, the celebrity manager of Kareena Kapoor Khan, has played a pivotal role in shaping Bebo’s glorious career. The two have been often spotted partying and going on trips together. But now, we hear that the strong duo has parted ways after working together for ten years.
According to a report in Mid-Day, Poonam’s exit from the company (Matrix owned by Reshma Shetty) took place last month in July. Her second in command, Naina Sawhney too has left the organisation. Poonam's next move is being keenly watched by the industry insiders with buzz suggesting that she may launch her own talent management firm. The idea of joining the rival celebrity management agency, KWAN, as a senior partner cannot be ruled out either. While this puts a question mark on Kareena's professional equation with Poonam, their personal rapport remains unaffected,’’ a source told Mid-Day.
The report also suggested that Kareena has already got a new manager.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan will be seen in Good News. She reunites with her Kambakkht Ishq co-star Akshay Kumar and Udta Punjab actor Diljit Dosanjh for this film. The film also stars Kiara Advani in a prominent role.
There are also reports suggesting Bebo will be making a special appearance in her husband Saif Ali Khan's next, Jawaani Jaaneman. The actress will be seen playing Saif's ex-girlfriend/wife in the film directed by Nitin Kakkar. She also has Karan Johar’s period drama, Takhtin her kitty. The movie also stars Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Alia Bhatt, Janhvi Kapoor and Bhumi Pednekar. Written by Sumit Roy, the film will be released in 2020.
