The annual Kapoor’s Christmas brunch as scheduled was held today at late actor Shashi Kapoor’s residence in Mumbai. Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan were among the first ones to arrive with their little munchkin, Taimur, who turned two years old last week. While Kareena kept it cool in a white tee and black jeans, Saif looked handsome in a sky blue kurta and white pyjama. Taimur looked cute as a button in denim jeans and shirt.
Karisma Kapoor also arrived with her daughter Samiera and son Kiaan Raj Kapoor. Randhir Kapoor and Babita were also photographed outside the residence. Also seen was Armaan Jain, son of Raj Kapoor’s daughter Rima.
Meanwhile, Ranbir Kapoor arrived with best friend Ayan Mukerji at the Christmas brunch. The actor looked handsome in a casual look. His parents, Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor are stationed in New York, where Rishi is undergoing treatment for an unknown illness.
Karisma took to her Instagram account to share a few pictures from the occasion. She also shared a family portrait of herself with her son Kiaan, daughter Samaira, mother Babita, dad Randhir and sister Kareena with little Taimur. "Christmas Lunch, the tradition continues... Thank you #kunalkapoor @zahankapoor @shairakapoor for always being fabulous hosts. Missed all our family members who couldn’t make it today," she posted.
The tradition of Christmas brunch was started by Shashi Kapoor’s wife Jennifer Kendal. After his parents demise, Kunal Kapoor kept up the tradition.
On the work front, Kareena Kapoor Khan will be next seen in Karan Johar’s Takht. The film is set in the Mughal era and Kareena’s character will either be Ranveer’s sister or his wife. She will share screen space with Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal, Janhvi Kapoor and Anil Kapoor. Saif Ali Khan, on the other hand, was last seen in Baazaar. The movie also starred Radhika Apte and Chitrangada Singh.
Ranbir Kapoor, on the other hand, is prepping for Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The movie also stars Alia Bhatt in a pivotal role.
