No one can match with Kareena Kapoor's level of sassiness. The actress who is known to star only opposite Bollywood bigies and has featured besides all the big Khans, from Salman, Shah Rukh to Aamir and husband Saif Ali Khan, however recently made a very unlikely choice.
Kareena, who will be seen sharing screen space with Irrfan in the upcoming Angrezi Medium, the latter’s comeback film after his year-long battle with Neuroendocrine Tumor, a rare type of cancer, recently saif it will be an 'honour and priviledge' to work for Irrfan and even called him her 'biggest Khan'.
In the film directed by Homi Adajania, a sequel to 2017’s Hindi Medium, the actress will be seen playing a cop, a small yet significant role.
“Oh God, I am super excited for this film. I have worked with all the Khans - Shah Rukh, Salman, Aamir and Saif. But for me, it is an honour and privilege to work with Irrfan Khan,” Kareena told news agency IANS in a recent interaction.
“He is the pioneer, one of the finest actors among all the Khans if I may say, and he is the biggest Khan for me. So, I had to tick that box of acting with Irrfan Khan. I know it is a small role but that does not matter. I know I am too excited, and I am really looking forward to this one,” she added.
The actress will start shooting for the film from May 15. She recently wrapped up shooting Raj Mehta’s Good News that co-stars Akshay Kumar, Diljit Dosanjh and Kiara Advani.
Besides these two films, Kareena also has Karan Johar’s mega directorial project, Takht, in her kitty. The actress is also expected to star shooting for her Television debut witha dance reality show.
