Kartik Aaryan shot to fame with his spectacular performance in Pyaar Ka Punchnama series and his monologue in the films made him a sensation overnight. Wherever he goes, the charming actor is asked to deliver the monologue and he does it with the same conviction as he did in those two movies. Now, Kartik took to his Instagram account to support social distancing and create awareness on COVID-19. In the video, he schools people for going to work and caring for the economy. He appeals them to self-isolate themselves at this time of crisis to take care of their and others' health.
The actor talked about how the big companies have provided work from home facility to their employees in order to stop the spread of Coronvirus. He stressed on the fact that film’s releases and events have been delayed due to the Coronavirus outbreak. The actor captioned the video stating, "#CoronaStopKaroNa My Appeal in my Style Social Distancing is the only solution, yet."
In an earlier interview, Kartik had revealed that every time he delivers barely three lines people subconsciously think he is going to deliver a monologue. "Monologues were there in just two films. Whenever I say a three-line dialogue, people think that I'm delivering a monologue. The dialogues in 'Pyaar Ka Punchnama' films were actually monologues. They were both six-page long scenes and 12 minutes in length. "But it is just these two films out of my whole filmography -- 'Akash Vaani', 'Luka Chuppi', 'Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety', 'Pati Patni Aur Woh' and now 'Love Aaj Kal'. I have never done monologues. So it is wrong to compare," Kartik had told PTI in an interview.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kartik has been shooting for his upcoming film, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, and has headed back home due to self-quarantine. Talking about the film, it's the second instalment in Bhool Bhulaiyaa franchise. Along with Kartik, the film also stars Kiara Advani as the female lead and Tabu in a pivotal role. Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 is being helmed by Anees Bazmee. Meanwhile, Kartik also has Dostana 2 in his kitty in which he will be seen alongside Janhvi Kapoor. The film has debutant Lakshya with them and is helmed by Collin D'Cunha in his directorial debut.
