Kiara Advani’s last release Kabir Singh turned out to be a blockbuster and broke many records at the box-office. While her fans are still raving over Kiara's performance as 'Preeti' in the film, the actress recently left everyone in splits, after she shared a meme by a Twitter user on her Instagram story. The meme featured a white coloured charger plugged to the wall with the name ‘Preeti’ written on it.

Along with the picture, there was also a caption that read, ‘Ab koi mera charger touch nahi karega.’ The photo caught a lot of attention on social media and instantly went viral on social media. Kiara also noticed the meme and couldn’t stop laughing.

For the uninitiated, in Kabir Singh, the lead character played by Shahid Kapoor is extremely possessive of his love interest Preeti. In one of the scenes, he is seen hurling abuses and bashing the person, when he hears that someone had ‘touched’ her. Kiara put the meme on her on Instagram stories and wrote, "Hahahah one of the best ones."

Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, the film is the remake of hit Telugu film Arjun Reddy. It hit the screens on June 21, 2019 and collected Rs 278.24 crore at the box office. On Meanwhile, Kiara has her plate full with films like Indoo Ki Jawaani, Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Laxmmi Bomb and Netflix film Guilty. Kiara is also working with Sidharth Malhotra in Shershaah. All of the films will release in 2020.

On the other hand, Shahid Kapoor is all set to play the lead in the Hindi remake of the Telugu sports drama Jersey. The Hindi version will be directed by Gowtam Tinnanauri, who also helmed the original 2019 Telugu film, starring Nani in lead role. The Telugu version of Jersey revolves around the protagonist named Arjun (played by Nani) and his struggles to make it big in Indian cricket. A failed cricketer, Arjun is forced by circumstances to return to cricket at the age of 36. How he makes it big despite being limited by his age forms the crux of the story.
