Saif Ali Khan’s newest avatar as a vagabondassassin in Laal Kaptaan trailer is out. A name that his synonymous with bloodshed, the first trailer of Laal Kaptaan which has been titled ‘The Hunt’ shows Saif riding on a horseback dragging a corpse as he parades through a dry and lazy town.

Presumably set in the pre-Independence period with Saif dressed in British form turned pirate-like-outfit, the trailer of Laal Kaptaan shows Saif on a killing spree. Laal Kaptaan marks the latest venture of venture after his police officer Sartaj Singh avatar in Sacred Games which was nominated for International Emmy Awards.
“It’s great (moment), I mean the idea was to do something honest on a platform that is kind of international. Something like ‘Narcos’ that is a Netflix original and they encourage you tell your story the way you do but in an international way to an international audience. Hence I feel in a way it is well deserved to have been nominated at an international platform. Full credit to the team and the production and of course the directors and the lovely actors,” Saif, who has won a lot of appreciation for his performance as Sartaj Singh, told PTI.
Apart from Laal Kaptaan, Saif will also be seen in Dil Bechara, Jawaani Jaaneman and Taanaji: The Unsung Warrior.
Directed by Navdeep Singh, Laal Kaptaan will now hit the big screens on October 18.
