In the era of social media, trolling is not a new phenomenon for Bollywood celebrities. Many times a number of stars have fallen prey to online trolls for either their pictures or for their choice of outfits. Malaika Arora is one such B-town diva, who is targeted by netizens for her choice of outfits, be it a saree or a dress.

Malaika was recently snapped with son Arhaan Khan as they walked out of a restaurant in Mumbai. The 45-year-old diva chose to wear a long white outfit with a plunging neckline. She complemented her look with a Gucci sling bag and hair tied in a bun. The picture drew a lot of negative comments on social media. While one user wrote, ''Can’t she wear something decent with her son atleast’’, while another wrote, ''At least have some shame with son…buy yourself some decent clothes, people won’t look at you but will bring you some respect.''

Malaika is also often trolled for her relationship with Arjun Kapoor due to the huge age gap between them. Talking about the same, Arjun had recently said, ''I wouldn’t even want to speak about this and give it importance. It doesn’t matter to me, so I don’t want to justify anything.''

Malaika was married to Arbaaz Khan, however, the two parted ways in 2017 after being married for 18 years. Malaika recently appeared on Anupama Chopra’s web show where she was asked about the split. "Divorce is a huge step and it gave me a sense of freedom because of the sense of being able to make a choice in life. A choice which is not applauded by too many people. People look down at you asking 'Why are you doing this?' 'Think about the consequences',’’ she said.

Malaika added that she was happy with the choice she made. "I could make a choice which I stand by. I was not under any duress. I am happy about the fact that it does give you that freedom to move on, to make new choices, to make new decisions, to go out in the world with your head held high without feeling the past baggage that was there. Eventually, everyone probably wants to be in a relationship or move on or find love again. Nobody wants to be alone and single for the rest of their life. Irrespective of what everyone said around me, I am glad that I made this choice on my own," she added.
