Nawazuddin Siddiqui and National-Award winning actor Tannishtha Chatterjee are taking their film to the Busan International Film Festival. Titled Roam Rome Mein, the movie marks directorial debut of Tannishtha who will be soon seen aggain ina web series adapted from Phollan Devi's life
Roam Rome Mein , a psychological drama touted as a feminest film witha male protagonist went on floors in 2018, and features Nawazuddin in the lead role. Interestingly, the idea of Roam Rome Mein germinated when Nawaz and Tannishtha met during a film festival. This was also the time Chatterjee approached Nawaz to play lead in her film.
Apart from Nawazuddin and Tannishtha, the cast also includes Valentina Corti, Isha Talwar, Francesco Apolloni, UrBano Barberini, Pamela Villoresi and Andrea Scarduzio.
Meanwhile, Nawazuddin who won hearts with 'Sacred Games 2' wrapped up the shooting for Honey Trehan's debut film 'Raat Akeli Hai'

Speaking about the Busan premiere, Tannishtha said in a statement, “When we were shooting for Lion, Nawaz and I thought of doing something together. The kind of cinema we would like to watch. That’s how Roam Rome Mein started ideating in my mind. Then Ravi Walia came on board as a producer and Ridhima Lulla from Eros loved the idea. And we made the film. Today we all are thrilled that we are having a world premiere in Busan.”
The commercial release date for teh movie is not decided but willhit theaters in English, Hindi, and Italian later this year.
Meanwhile, Nawazuddin who won hearts with 'Sacred Games 2' wrapped up the shooting for Honey Trehan's debut film 'Raat Akeli Hai'. The teaser of 'Bole Chudiyan' adadpted on real life incidents in Nawaz's life opposite Tamannah Bhatia is out and will see the actor in a completely different avatar .
