The trailer of Kartik Aaryan’s much-awaited film, Pati Patni Aur Woh is finally out and shows his character caught between his wife and girlfriend. Kartik Aaryan plays the role of Chuntu Tyagi, the ‘adarshwadi’ pati and government employee who is married to Bhumi Pednekar's character while Ananya is the 'Woh' in this crazy equation. The quirky dialogues are sure to leave you in splits. The film also stars Aparshakti Kurrana, who's perfect timing and puchlines will make you go LOL!

Bhumi plays a convincing sari-clad wife who is also a teacher. Ananya adds glamour as Kartik’s love interest Tapasya. This is the first time Kartik will be romancing Bhumi and Ananya onscreen.

Before the trailer launch, Kartik Aaryan shared a new poster with a caption that read, "#ChintuTyagi ke dil ki chaabi kiske paas hai Patni ya Woh".

Pati Patni Aur Woh is an adaptation of the 1978 drama of the same name, which featured Sanjeev Kumar, Vidya Sinha and Ranjeeta Kaur in the lead roles. It is being directed by Mudassar Aziz and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Juno Chopra. The film is slated to release on 6 December, 2019.  "Kartik, Bhumi and Ananya are new age actors who are talented and add their spark to the story. We have worked with Kartik in Sonu Ke Titu Ki Sweety and we are glad that we are working again. Bhumi has proven what a fantastic actor she is while Ananya is new, but audiences will fall in love with her. The film will so have great music," T-Series' Bhushan Kumar said in a statement, news agency IANS reported.

He also added that the makers have given an "interesting tweak" to the story.

Apart from this, Kartik also has Dostana 2 alongside Janhvi Kapoor and Aaj Kal with rumoured girlfriend Sara Ali Khan. Ananya Panday will team up with Ishaan Khatter for the movie "Khaali Peeli", backed by filmmaker Ali Abbas Zafar. Bhumi Pednekar's Saand Ki Aankh recently hit the screens and has been receiving rave reviews from the audience.
