It almost a year now since Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas became husband and wife at a lavish wedding held in Jodhpur and the actress already has pre-anniversary gift for the love of her life, a cuddly little doggy that would wake them up from sweet slumber.
Priyanka surprised Nick this morning by waking him up with a German shepherd puppy as an anniversary gift. And between the adorable dog and the shirtless Nick Jonas in bed, the video of their first interaction will start over your weekend early.
First, Priyanka is seen taping a sleeping Nick on the shoulder. As the singing sensation responds, the pup — wearing a big white bow — stumbles over to Nick to wake him up.
"Who's this? Who are you?" Jonas can be heard asking the dog, to which Priyanka explains that he doesn't have a name yet.
And just like that, a new friendship was born.
The couple eventually settled on the name Gino, and even created an Instagram, @ginothegerman, where fans can follow the pup's every move.
Nick sharing their first meeting said, “Pri came home with the absolute best surprise this morning. Please meet our new pup @ginothegerman I haven’t stopped smiling since I woke up this morning and finally realized what was going on. Thank you @priyankachopra”

The Jonas family is an immense admirer of dogs. Priyanka is already mother to a pup called Dianan and a Cocker Spaniel called Brando. The German shepherd is a new addition to their family!
